How to read Q99

Read each entry from its index heading through to its verse context.

Index heading → actual surface → complete witness → verse → grammar / attribution note

Lemma · index heading

The dictionary or normalized heading used to name an entry. It need not be identical to the inflected form in the verse.

Surface · the actual Qur’anic form

Hafs vocalization, inflection and the complete meaningful construction are preserved. The index heading and actual verse wording occupy separate fields.

First witness · verse and brief meaning

Order follows the first appearance in the Hafs mushaf, including the basmala at 1:1. The brief meaning covers the displayed witness; no historical revelation chronology is claimed.

I‘rab / grammar · attribution

Grammatical role, case ending, adjective and construct links are examined. Notes explain what the wording modifies and how attribution to Allah is established.

79 + 20 and Hamd
